Direct-booking website for two holiday apartments in Sonthofen, Allgäu

Problem
The old website didn't reflect the quality of the apartments and offered no real path to booking direct: availability and price could only be settled by asking, and every inquiry meant back-and-forth messages. Guests came through Airbnb, and with them the commission, the guest relationship and the brand presentation went to the platform.
Solution
A bilingual (DE/EN) website with a calm, light layout in alpine greens. On the booking page, a calendar shows availability, synced hourly from the Airbnb calendars. A price calculator breaks the stay down in full: seasonal rates tied to school holidays, minimum stay, promotional and long-stay discounts, service fee and tourist tax. The inquiry is stored and reaches the hosts as a structured email with the complete price table. Around that: region pages with an interactive map, genuine guest reviews, arrival info and an FAQ, a double-opt-in newsletter, redirects from the old addresses, and monitoring that raises an alert when an inquiry wasn't delivered.
Outcome
Live at dasalpiente.com since July 2026. Guests see availability and the final price before they ask, and every inquiry arrives with dates, guest count and a price breakdown. Confirmation stays personal, with the hosts.

Anyone looking for a holiday apartment in the Allgäu usually ends up on Airbnb. There, the platform owns the guest relationship and the brand presentation, and every booking costs a commission. A guest who wants to book direct needs two answers first: is the apartment free, and what will the stay cost?
The Das Alpiente website answers both before the first message is written. It presents your apartments and the region in German and English, syncs availability with Airbnb every hour and calculates the full price. The inquiry comes straight to you, with no platform in between.
